Encouraging news!

9 June 2020

Last month Isaiah Nursery & Primary School delivered learning materials to all its primary school students, so they could continue their education the best they can. These materials were delivered by Head Teacher Denis Muhwezi on motorbike! Below is a photo of some of the families.

The school is being well looked after and will be ready to open to its 190 pupils when the Ugandan Government restrictions are lifted. We continue to pay the staff’s salaries to support them through this difficult time, and we are delighted to tell you that building work on the school restarted this week. The ground is now being prepared for three more classrooms and additional toilets and teachers’ accommodation (urgently needed to prevent overcrowding). The build also helps to provide some local employment; many young men have returned to support their community during the COVID-19 situation.

Please pray for the safe return to school of all children and staff (hopefully at the end of this month), and give thanks to God for the safety of this community.

Thank you and God Bless
